[FIXED] Remote Event store

Postby srikant75 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:40 pm

Extensible team .. i have started using the calendar component and it is very impressive.. I am still working thru some hoops..

The first issue that i have is

When using a json event store that is loaded remote it looks like there are multiple calls that are being made. I found that for each of day, week or month view it is making a store load call. So when i hide all the views except day i still see 2 calls being made. Not sure if i am doing something wrong but my call is pretty standard.

Code: Select all
<script type="text/javascript">
Ext.onReady(function(){

var panelWidth=(windowWidth * (96/100));
var panelHeight=1200;

function formatDate(v, record){
    return Date.parseDate(v, "Y-m-d H:i:s");
}
var eventStore = new Ext.data.JsonStore({
      baseParams: {personid:6}, root: "query.data", url: "data.cfm", fields: [  {
         mapping: "eventid",
         name: "EventId"
      } ,{
         mapping: "eventtypeid",
         name: "CalendarId"
      } ,{
         mapping: "title",
         name: "Title"
      } ,{
         convert: formatDate, mapping: "startdate",
         name: "StartDate"
      } ,{
         convert: formatDate, mapping: "enddate",
         name: "EndDate"
      } ,{
         mapping: "notes",
         name: "Notes"
      }  ],

      dummy: true
   });
   eventStore.on('update',function(st,rec,idx)
   {
      if(idx==Ext.data.Record.COMMIT)
         alert("Data modified" + idx + rec.data.Title);
   }
   );

   eventStore.on('add',function(st,rec,idx)
   {
      alert("Data added" + rec[0].data.Title);
   }
   );
var CALENDARPANEL422 = new Ext.ensible.cal.CalendarPanel({
      activeItem: 0, height: panelHeight, id: "cpCalendar", renderTo: "calendar", title: "myCalendar", width: panelWidth, showDayView: true, showWeekView: false, showMultiWeekView: false, showMonthView: false, todayText: "Today", showTodayText: true, showTime: true, showNavToday: true, dayText: "Day", weekText: "Week", monthText: "Month", eventStore: eventStore,

      dummy: true
   });

});
</script>

Code: Select all
{"totalcount":1,"success":true,"query":{"recordcount":1,"columnlist":"attendeeid,enddate,eventid,eventtypeid,notes,personid,startdate,title","data":[{"attendeeid":"","enddate":"2010-09-22 06:00:00","eventid":1,"eventtypeid":1,"notes":"","personid":6,"startdate":"2010-09-22 01:00:00","title":"Availablity for Interview"}]}}

This is a known issue in the first alpha version and it has already been resolved in Github. You can grab the current source and build it, or wait until the next alpha release, and it should be fixed.

Yeah, that's a bummer. Open to suggestions on a workaround.

This was fixed a long time ago. The current remote example works as expected: http://ext.ensible.com/deploy/dev/examp ... emote.html

If you are seeing an issue please create a new thread with details.
