[CLOSED] Multiple events saved while creating an event

Postby mirabeltech » Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:52 am

Hi Brian,

I m having an issue when i creating an event using "Add Event" Dailog box that is when i click on save button multiple times ( before the dialog box closed) . as a result multple events are getting saved.

then finally added the Mask when we click on save button in extesible-all-debug.js

onSave: function () {
// alert('add mode')
mask = new Ext.LoadMask(Ext.getBody(), { msg: "Loading..." });
mask.show();

as a result mask is loading but the "Add Event" Dailog box not masked
Can you please suggest me.
Thanks in advance.

The mask is added to the document body, not the dialog. Dialogs by design float above anything in the body, including a loading mask added to the body. You could target the dialog's element instead to achieve what you want, but a better approach in the dialog might instead be to disable or hide the save button, then show it again after saving is complete. This would probably be a good thing for me to add in as an option by default -- I'll add this to my list as a feature request.

Since i didn't find save buttons to get it disable so finally gone with another way that is hiding the window when i click on save button in onSave Event. This is working fine with me.
